Step-by-Step Guide:
Step 1: Review Eligibility Requirements:
– Before applying, ensure you meet the requirements for the VAE (Validation of Acquired Experience) certification program. Typically, candidates need relevant work experience in the field for which they are seeking certification.
Step 2: Prepare Application Documents:
– Collect and organize essential documents: – Resume | CV: detailing your professional experience.
– Proof of Work Experience: such as employment letters, contracts, or certificates.
– Educational Transcripts and Diplomas: only If applicable.
– Any other supporting documents that highlight your skills and achievements.
Step 3: Submit Initial Application:
– Complete the application form and upload the required documents.
– Pay the application fee to begin the three-stage evaluation process.
Step 4: Portfolio Review:
– Firstly, IHED’s VAE advisors will review your submitted documents.
– They may request additional information or clarification on certain qualifications or experiences.
– Be prepared to provide any supplemental documentation promptly to the evaluation département.
Step 5: Interview & Assessment
• If your application passes the initial review, we will schedule an interview or assessment session (your choice).
• This is an opportunity to discuss your experience, career goals, and clarify any aspects of your portfolio.
Step 6: Final Evaluation & Degree/Certification Decision
• Based on your documents and the interview or assessment, the evaluation committee will make a final decision regarding your eligibility for the VAE degree or certification.
• You will be notified of the result, and if successful, issued the VAE degree or certification.
Step 7: Notarization & Apostille • We will obtain your degree or certificate with notarization.
• Following notarization, we will secure an apostille to ensure its recognition in other countries.
Step 8: Packaging & Express Postal Service
• Your degree or certificate will be placed in a protective hardcover case with the institution’s name and logo.
• We will then send it via express air mail to ensure delivery within approximately one week.
